1920 Census Index information indicates John Immigrated to the US in 1887. However, the children are indicated as being born in the US. The 1900 Census Image on Line, shows John had been in the US for 32 years; from 1868.

It is interesting to note that John Owned their Home with no Mortgage, according to the 1900 Census. This was accomplished even though he and Bertha had a very large family.[JASMER FTM 12-28-01.FTW]

Charles and Marie would need to be twins if Charles is a sibling; using the information from the 1920 Census Index which shows Charles A. (age 44) with his own family. This indicates his birthdate to be abt 1876; rather than 1872 as indicated by Sharon Jasmer's information.

It is probable that there were two or more Charles Jasmer in Winona. However, this file combines the information of Charles A. found in the 1920 Census Index and information from Sharon Jasmer which indicates that Charles was born in 1872.

The Charles Jasmer listed on the 1880 Census for Winona City is listed separately in the Jasmer FTM File. It is not know, at this time, exactly how he fits in. However, it could be that he is a son of Michael; said to be the Father of John M. Jasmer, by Carol Flack. Though Carol does not list him in that family.
