MAX202 RS232 Transceivers ( MAX202CPE ) The MAX202 transceiver is designed for RS232 and V.28 communication interfaces where a ±12V supply is not available. On-board charge pumps convert the +5V input to the ±10V needed for RS232 output levels. The drivers and receivers meet all EIA/TIA-232E and CCITTV.28 specifications at a data rate of 20kbits/sec. The device requires just four external capacitors to provide the voltage conversion. Supplied in a 16-pin DIL package (MAX202CPE).
