Method 0:
standard

Roll your character's six ability scores. Determine each one by rolling four six-sided dice, ignoring the lowest die, and totaling the other three. Record your six results and place in order (STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS, CHA). Roll again if your total modifiers (before changes according to race) are 0 or less, or if your highest score is 13 or lower.

Method IV:
floating re-roll

Roll 4d6 six times, discarding the lowest die each time. Once during this process the player can re-roll the lowest die instead. Arrange scores as desired.

Method V:
organic

Roll 4d6 six times, discarding the lowest die each time. Place in order (STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS, CHA). Re-roll any one ability score of your choice, taking the new roll if it is higher. Then switch any two ability scores.

Method VI:
customized average

Roll 3d6 six times and arrange scores as desired. The player may re-roll all scores if his ability modifiers total -3 or lower, or if he doesn't have any score of 12 or higher.

Method VII:
random average

Roll 3d6 six times and place in order (STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS, CHA). The player may re-roll all scores if his ability modifiers total -3 or lower, or if he doesn't have any score of 12 or higher.

Method VIII:
high-powered

Roll 5d6 six times, discarding the two lowest dice each time. Arrange as desired. The player may re-roll all scores if his ability modifiers don't total at least +2 or if he doesn't have at least one score of 15 or higher.
